Dan-Jen Mechanical Ltd. was incorporated in 1981.

How Did Dan-Jen get its name?

From the Danish Jensen! Finn Jensen, co-founder of the company, apprenticed in Denmark before he earned his trade qualification in plumbing in Canada in 1980.

Rob McHattie took over the position of President in 2012 after Finn Jensen retired. He has rich experience in all aspects of plumbing and heating for the construction industry. Rob handles estimating and overall supervision of the company operation.

Niels Bye-Jensen is Vice President. He does estimating and gives safety and skills training to our workers to ensure quality and safety in project execution. 

Roni Pollard, Office Manager, handles the office administration and accounting to ensure a smooth and efficient day-to-day operation.

Our foremen are experienced and knowledgeable. They choose their work because it interests them. Their dedication to the projects is obvious in the pride they take. Dan-Jen regularly provides training in supervisory skills and new products. We seek out the best foremen and keep training them so they stay the best!
